I'm watching a frame on eBay
and wondered if anyone has any info on "The Evans" bicycles. This appears to be an FW Evans shop in the London area starting around 1922, but I can find no info on their frames. The bike is supposed to date from 1960, and looks to be full Nervex with original paint, down tube shifter bosses, and a fork lamp bracket. Was it built in house, or contracted from an outside builder, and ifso, who built them? Any further info would be appreciated.
There seems to be an uptick with English bikes on list lately!
