I've riden one version or another of American Classic seatposts for as long as Shook has been making them. Never broken one. I have had the bolt that adjust the seat angle come loose and even fall out. It only happens when they are new so I check the bolt frequently in the first month. I had a saddle fall off last year while descending a hill in a cyclocross race. I didn't dare stop and had to walk back up the hill to retrieve my saddle.
