Jay Monarch brand has a convoluted history, and I will leave that to someone else who has the time, but as far as the one you are describing, I believe it came out of their Swedish operations sometime in the 60s. Cheers, Dave Anderson Cut Bank MT

Howdy again, My LBS has a bike on consignment that has been well used verging on abused with a mish mash of parts and a replacement fork. The decals are mostly intact and quite elaborate, covering the top tube and seat tube. The head badge is faded, no color anymore if there was any, and it is a MONARCH.  No braze ons, fancy Nervex lugs.  Can anyone comment on this or direct me to info? Thanks once again for any help.
