I read somewhere that the "Prestige" Delrin derailleurs came out in 1961. One of the advantages of this model, and all future simplex models, to the best of my knowledge, is that both stop screws face outwards in the same direction as the hub axles, and are on the top of the derailleur. As a result Simplex derailleurs are/were easier to see and adjust than campy derailleurs.
