I'm well familiar with all these derailleurs, and there is absolutely no reason to consider them copies of one another. The only thing they have in common is that they are all conventional parallelograms. Campy did not invent that design, but quite the contrary copied it from Simplex, Huret, and others, when racing results had shown Campy's rod shifters to be inadequate. The Simplex SLJ, as I noted earlier, was far superior to Campy NR. Campy stuff was and the in precisely made, well finished, and very durable, but aside from the original QR, the myth of Campy as a great innovator is exactly that - a myth.
