The chainstay protector on my '81 Masi has yellowed somewhat and I would like to replace it. Trouble is, it is also a Masi decal. This raises some questions that I searched the archives for and could not find an answer.
Was there more than one decal used on the chainstay or will any that I find be acceptable?
If I find one, can I put it on myself or is there some specialized technique involved?
Have any of you folks out there got one to sell or can you point me to a source for one?
I haven't tried any of the restoration services yet, I guess that is next if I can't fix the matter 'in house'.
