The Ride magazine had an article about this this month, They do plan to completely resurface The track. I'm already thinking about what to make a fixed gear out of, so I can try it when it's ready. I always wanted to ride on a track, but when I was riding a lot Trexlertown was just a rumor to us beginners not to mention being too far from Boston for a day trip.

The Vandedrome track listed on eBay earlier this year was bought by the Northampton Cycling Club in Massachusetts. http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/?id=3D2003/sep03/sep09news2. =20 170 meters and 54 degree banking? Fun to watch, but pretty scary to ride! And I believe they'll have to replace the boards before it's
usable. =20
