What a hateful task. I have used methylated spirits with some success and other solvents that are used commonly in the printing trade blanket wash or MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone's). Failing this a paint heat stripper gun are supposed to work, but I have never used one. Have always been successful, with proprietary printing solvents. Forgive the spellings.
