The Stronglight does use longer bolts for the triple, just as the 93 triples you occasionally once saw did and the Sugino Mighty Tour did. SR made a knokc-ff of the 99.

Now my question is whether Stronglight gave another name/number to the 99 type crank later that it later made (late '70s-early '80s). I have a polished non-anodized 99 whose details look very much like those of the 93. I also have later crank mounted on a Gitane GranTour (a touring bike without a chainstay bridge!)that is satin anodized with a slightly different arm shape. The shape and details are more like that of the Stronglight 106, the 144mm bcd Stronglight answer to Campy. Interestingly, my 106 looks just like my early Mavic crank.
