I spoke with Joe Bell yesterday and he mentioned he'd like to take the route to Imperial Beach, where he grew up, then back along the Silver Strand to Coronado to take the ferry back to the downtown area. We can lunch at Anthonys before going back to the park. Please join us if you can.
Plan to attend one of our regular monthly rides on the 3rd Sunday of each month starting in Balboa Park. We are planning a few new routes for variety.

. Joe will be celebrating the 26 anniversary of his 21st Birthday. Meet in
front of the Auto museum in Balboa Park at 9:30 , ride starts at 10:00am.
The ride is a fairly easy 25 miles to the Point Loma Light House and back.
> Joe's favorite ride is a Colnago Super , so if you too have one, bring
it, or if not bring another vintage bike of your choosing. Along the way we
will stop for lunch at Anthony's fish market on the harbor. Before and after
the ride we will be buying and selling vintage bikes, parts and swaping some
good stories about our glory days. So come for the ride, or just come to
sell some parts, see us off and wish Joe a happy birthday.
