regarding Martin Coopland's posting of Belleville Rendezvous:
The animated film "Belleville Rendez-Vous" was a new animated cycling film that was released at the Cannes film festival this year (2003).
It tells the story of a Tour de France bicycle rider 'Champion', with calves bigger than his waist. He is kidnapped by nefarious forces, and his relatives (grandmother Madame Sousa, dog Bruno, and others) to save him.
The film sounds like a lot of fun, but I don't know if it has been picked up for distribution in the USA.
I hope it has; I'd like to see it!
