Having recently confronted this very problem, I did some research in my handy-dandy Velo-Retro Campagnolo Catalog reprint.
The original Super Record bb with the alloy cups and titanium axle required 14 3/16" balls per side.
However, near as I can tell, later iterations of the Super Record bb (the one with the titanium axle with the integral bolts), used standard 1/4" balls with the standard holder.
