I thought that I had already posted this message but it seems to have disappeared into cyberspace.
Dave Patrick has given me a pair of open 'C' Q/R skewer levers and suggested that we have a little quiz/contest among CR listmembers to award them to a deserving person. The quiz/contest is open to all except Dave, Matteo and me and involves explaining the significance of some slightly obscure names to Italian cycling (hence Matteo's disqualification, scusami amico!)
The question to answer is: What is the importance of the following three anglosaxon names to Italian vintage cycling: Palmer, Carter and Humber.
If you do not know the proper 'technical' importance of these names but can come up with a humorous or otherwise entertaining cycling-related explanation, that too can be sufficient to win.
