Having wrenched on, tweaked bent tubes on, and brazed a few bits on Italian frames including De Rosas, I'd have to think that a better deal would be a "vintage replica" frame that many US framebuilders--including a couple of list members--have turned out. I'd like to see the '73 De Rosa-replica that the dude who built the chrome Masi Special track bike replica could
build!
