Subject: [CR]Gazelle Bicycles - Web Sites

1.) As mentioned by me , previously :

Gazelle began in 1892 - and survives today !

A Dutch-owned company once again , since 2001 .

Raleigh bought Gazelle ( actually the owner of Raleigh , T.I. , bought Gazelle in 1971 ) . They used the Gazelle factory to make regular Raleigh bicycles , which explains the Raleigh Grand Prix bicycles with the "Made In Holland" decals .

( that web site might also be interesting to owners of Rixe bicycles , among others )

2.) And as sent to me by a cycling friend of mine , Bruce-In-Indiana , with thanks to the fine folks at the Rydjor bicycle shop ( is this the finest Gazelle ever ?? ) :

http://www.rydjor.com/bikecollection/1983gazelle.htm

3.) And very sorry to read the message from , Baron C...And the gang!! , Renaissance cycles , Eindhoven Holland , that 2002 was the last year for steel bicycle frames made by Gazelle !
