hello everybody,
I recently acquired (ok, bought) a mid-80's eisentraut rainbow.
here's the problem: I am going to switch over my nuovo record parts to it from another bike, but, since I am cursed by the visogoths who taunt me so, the former bike has an italian bottom bracket, the eisentraut, english.
does anyone happen to have a good to great to NOS bottom bracket for this purpose that I could purchase? the eisentraut now sports--and I use that term guardedly--yes--biopace triple and foamy bar tape).
my mechanical friends here tells me that the specs on the eisentraut bottom bracket would be 68 mm shell with 115 mm long spindle--does that seem right? please help, correct, or help me find this BB so I can be atop a rainbow, asap.
