=========== Well, Bill, I know I put Mafacs on one chrome Paramount in the 60s. Just a preference, and I'm not ashamed to mention it. Must have been the air in Houston back then (or now!). Later, I became a die-hard Universal 61 and 68 fan, but there was a time when I really preferred the Mafac to the Weinmann. And remember: if you have the early Weinmann CPs with the pivot bolts riveted to the backing plate, they will look good on the wall, but tend to crack if actually used. I have pix if anyone needs them.
