I never new that distinction between crank sets and chainset! Is that a fact? Not that I doubt it I am just trying to clarify the subject. I always though "crankset" was just an americanism for "chainset". Although, just on this one occasion, I would concede that a crankset is a better description than chainset.
The collection of saddles in Cycle sport was rapidly supplied by me, following a last minute phone requesting help for a photo shoot. I was heading out the door for my only few days holiday of the year. The technical editor kindly offerred to give Classic bikes a reasonable mention in the article as you will see he managed to do-not. Not even a free copy!
