Matthew:

Post 1984 (based on the downtube transfer). Here is the Mod. Record from the 1985 catalog archived at Mark Bulgier's wonderful repository:

other catalogs here:

http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalogs/ (including 87 and 89 catalogs for Pinarello

Note the distinctive paint pattern w/ exposed chrome on both chainstays and on the seatstay caps only. I do not see that pattern on the other built-up models or framesets offered. I have a remarkably similar one that differs only in having the older non-sloping fork crown (perhaps an '84). Mine has had the fur loved off of it (and a good deal of the paint). Full chrome beneath. So, roughly 1985 I should guess.

Mine is a 57cm frame, has mild toe clip overlap and very quick handling. Built up with Campagnolo SR reduced components and Roval wheels, it climbs and rides like a dream. Takes about a 1/4 mile or so for me to equilibrate with the quicker handling relative to all of my other go fasts.

Charlie
