The head tube angles were very steep on my 1977 PX 10LE. The fork had what I would call an extended rake to compensate for the steep angle to soften the ride and aid control. Steering was quick, none the less, ideally suited for criteriums. They did Ok on the hills as well. In those days, a great value for the dollar was the Peugeot. Lament the disappearance of the brand in 2004.
