If he has (or can get) the old style thin cups (by anyone, doesn't have to be Campy), he can use a Campy triple axle. Provided the tapers are compatible. I may have one, contact me off list if you decide you need one. Stevan Thomas Alameda, CA I was going through a stash of axles this week to dind someone an Italian style axle and came upon what might work as well- it was a 68 120 +3 That was what was called for. Remember, the newer cranks, even though many are triple-plateau, use shorter axles because of the arm attachment and angle. Many of today's cranks need a more 'hollowed' type cup to work
