I can only speak from experience regarding the members comments about a nasty response to a seemingly innocent question. At trade show, like many other events that require you to be on your toes, sometimes the "moment" can get to you after you've been on your feet all day. Something you say that is meant to be witty can be perceived as aloof and insulting. All I can say is I've seen the best of components fail. Campy, Shimano, Cinelli. The Phil Wood BB on my Peugeot Team was purchased a few years ago and works great. By the way, when I ordered mine factory direct, I had ordered a fixing ring extracting tool that was not shipped with my order. Phil Wood and Company took care of this in a prompt and professional fashion and no questions asked.
