and stem, but these are supposed to break easily. What decent bars and stem from those years would be appropriate? I have a picture from Bicisport of Merckx on a PX-10, and the stem has an elongated groove. I can't identify it, but it does not look like an AVA.<

I replaced my AVA with a Pivo around 1974... it was newer looking than the AVA (recessed allen bolts) though not as sleek as the ttt or Cinelli... but it was French. Perhaps there is an older model Pivo that would have the right dimensions, and retain the "look" of the original AVA? Other listmembers might know...
