The Oct. 24 the meeting of the "Greater Cincinnati Retrospective Racing and Touring Bicycle and Equipment Collectors and Enthusiasts Unofficial Organization" was well attended and most excellently hosted by CRs favorite virtual Italian Aldo Ross. Finding Aldos den of many bikes was easy, driving up the street showed a large display of bikes lined up in the drive way. Steve Neago brought a large pile of near on topic computer equipment to reproduce the decals on Aldos Learco Guerro. The LG which has a lot of patina and has my favorite Campy device the Paris-Roubaix shifter, a superb example of the perfect evolutionary dead end. Mike Self brought his gorgeous '41 Bates, a wonderful example of odd English thinking. Great clamp on cantilevers with 0 mechanical advantage, but lovely levers. A good time was had by all. Thanks to Aldo for fine hospitality.
