this bike is a Liberia, it has 650 cc rims, steel tubing with a label that reads; Construit Avec, 102 Liberia, 3 Tubes Alleges. Cadre Fait Main. does that ring a bell? ----- Original Message ----- From: LouDeeter@aol.com To: classicrendezvous@bikelist.org Sent: Monday, October 27, 2003 5:25 AM Subject: Re: [CR]Liberia Cycles-Used Bike Buyers Guide Entry

LIBERIA: France. Ridden by RMO team in 89 Tour de France. 1930s to 1980s.

LIBERTAS. Belgium. Since at least mid 1970's. Known to have used Reynolds 531.

I show Liberia as French, but Libertas as Belgique (or is that Belgian?), so I can understand why there might be confusion between the two makes. I'll update Liberia to make it "Grenoble", France. Thanks Raoul!! Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
