Yes, they were a cut above! Most company's 24" "boy racer" bikes used 24 x 1 3/8" tires. Those Fujis used a 24 x 1 1/4" tire which was a lot nicer higher pressure and HARD to find then, I can't imagine how difficult they would be to find now (I have no idea about the IRD.) Maybe these Bill Boston style ("Terry style") bikes use that?
