I would recommend a pair of the Avid Shorty 6's. Much less expensive than the Pauls. Now that the cross season is on, and one of the beauties of cross riders is they are not trend followers, I see all sorts of canti brakes and setups. The Pauls are definetely the most expensive, the Spookys work the best but they don't have much vertical adjustment, and the Avids work fine, readily available and inexpensive.
