"Steve Neago" asked:

Did you "toe in" the brake pads slightly with an adjustable wrench? I have found this tends to solve most squeal problems... Otherwise, you mat need to change to a different set of brake pads.

---------------------

Please let me remind everyone: DO NOT attempt to "cold set" Universal brakes. Particularly the Universal 61 CP will snap in two. For that unit, the only way I know to change toe-in is to use some spherical washers (Matthauser) or cut your own pair of wedges. (Despite this fatal flaw, I still like the Universal 61 and 68, and use them.
