Four bikes in a studio apartment makes for uncomfortable living. I've decided to sell a few. I've got another track frame, so this one is going to go. It's best for some one interested in fixed gear cycling who appreciates old steel lugged frames.

This is a blue 1976 Gitane lugged steel track frame that was originally used at the Montreal Olympic Velodrome and then was in storage for several decades after that velodrome closed. It has Reynolds 531 main tubes. 58 cm. The original Stronglight French threaded bottom bracket and headset are in excellent condition and are included. 1970s French bikes also use a weird 22mm stem size, so I am including a anodized French-sized black Cinelli stem and alloy bar as well as a Sakae alloy fluted 26.4 mm seatpost (another weird size due to the era of the frame). You'll need a wheel set (the rear dropout spacing is 120 mm as to use a track-specific rear hub), saddle, pedals, a crankset, cog and chain and you'll be ready to roll. Note: this is a track frame, i.e. intended only for use on a racing track and thus has no brake holes on the frame or chromed track fork. I can send some pictures upon request.
