Hi Dick ,

I've certainly used a very-soft toothbrush to clean things , with detergent and water , with various parts cleaning liquids , etc . I've even gone out and bought toothbrushes in the small children's sizes , because they extra-soft , and can fit into tighter corners . But , I've never thought about using a toothbrush with a metal polishing paste , like Simichrome !

Brilliant idea ! Thanks !

And of course it'll work , since toothbrushes are designed to work with polishing paste in the first place !!

Speaking of which , toothpaste can be chemically a bit harsh , if you leave it in contact with metal for too long . But the very fine abrasives in toothpaste make for a very gentle polish . And of course , toothpaste is still recommended for polishing out scratches in CD's !
