It too would like to thank Dave for this survey. (I missed it). I've been looking for a more period-correct saddle to replace the Rolls saddle on my '74 Grand Record. I naturally am drawn to an Ideale, love the looks of the Brooks Swift, and am somehow oddly drawn to the new oddball Selle Italia Storika ( can be seen at http://store.yahoo.com/momovelo/seitst.html on momovelo's web site). I'm convinced that the elusive search for that "perfect saddle" will never end.

If I had participated in Dave's survey on my on-topic bikes, I'd have listed:

3 - Rolls saddles 1 - Ideale 80 saddles 1 - Vetta suede saddle - unknown model

Thanks for doing this Dave. I would have bet heavily that the standard B-17 would be more popular. Instead it looks like only 1 B-17 got a vote. Of course I have no room to argue as I didn't vote, and if I did I'd list 4 saddles depending on the bike: B-17 standard, Brooks Pro (either team or standard), Avocet Touring II and Concour. You learn something every day.

Of course everyone's *&& is different. For example I can't sit on Turbos for very long. Looks like I better try the Regal, though.
