All current italian aluminium and carbon Masis are named "3V Volumetrica" (see http://www.albertomasi.it). They have nothing in common with the classical steel 3V, described in the article at the CR Masi page (so they are On Topic). The steel Volumetricas are afaik all similar with the "internal" lugs. A few days ago a nice steel Masi 3V ended unsold (750EUR with late 90s Chorus) on german eBay. Sorry, didn't bookmarked the id.

Folks, are all 3V Masi bikes Volumetricas? Am I talking two different = models here, and, if so, how do they vary and how may they be told = apart? What were the years the 3V model (s?) were made? Are they all = the very thin tubing of which I understand the Volumetrica was made? =20 If this is really off our topic, please respond off line if you are =
uncomfortable with it.=20
Thanks,=20
