Looking for a replacement axle for a 70's set of high flange Dura Ace hubs, to convert a 120 mm to 127mm. Prefer NOS of very lightly used for this. The existing axle is too short to permit merely adding a 7mm spacer.
If no one has a genuine Dura Ace unit for sale, are the modern replacement axles usable in the older hubs? What is the threading and length for a modern replacement unit? Are there any hidden pitfalls to swapping the axles?
Also looking for a set of skewers. Black Dura Ace units would be awsome, but anything reasonably appropriate would be appreciated.
