Peter I think you are mistaken. The Calfee website <A HREF="http://www.calfeedesign.com/whoweare.shtml"> http://www.calfeedesign.com/whoweare.shtml</A> will confirm that his first prototype was in 1987 and I remember TVT frames, which were from France and first sold in the US under the Eclipse name, a couple years earlier. There is an Eclipse on ebay right now. <A HREF="http://ebay.com/<blah> http://ebay.com/<blah>

Perhaps you are confused because of the original name of the Calfee - "Carbonframes".
