I seemed to have accumulated a variety of bottom bracket axles that I thought
were "plain old" campy G.S. They are all black in color, all 115mm in length,
and I thought they were all the same. They all use Thin Cups and seem well
built to campy specs. However, there is enough difference between them that I am
not sure just what I have.
1) solid axle, old world logo
2) solid axle, wing & wheel logo
3) hollow axle, shield logo
When I bought them, I was assured that they were all "Gran Sport, 1970s
Vintage". Was there a lot of variation over the years or do I have something
that Is Not G.S.? Any help would be most appreciated. Cheers,
