My first UK made frame is on it's way to me and I've got some questions regarding building it up.

The frame is a mid 60s Claud Butler Torino (can you say Holdsworth!) and I'd like to use my first generation Campagnolo triple on it. Looks like it comes with a headset, I've got a short spear point stem coming for it, and the rest is up to whatever is pretty much right for a mid or late 60s mid level sport tourer from the UK. I'm not really hung up on period correct or perfect and mixing things is fine by me as the Torino was sold just as a frame (my favorite kind of project bike).

Paint - as usual I'm torn between something traditional and something unique to me with traditional elements.

So what kind of suggestions do people have regarding wheels (27"!) brakes and derailleurs? I've got spare NR changers and a pair of high flange hubs, but I'm open to any cool ideas, as long as they are in the spirit of budget!

I'd like to also take this moment to publicly mourn the disability of my favorite kitchen appliance, my espresso machine. It is currently on it's way to Seattle to the only place that fixes Italian Proteo machines and I have to make due with french press coffee until the beginning of January.
