Another tip for proper packing: When you have a sharply pointed seatlug (vertical point), fold foam and soft material over the point, then when the bike is in the box, fold a stiff large piece of cardboard over the top of the toptube, covering the padded seatlug area too. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
