A reminder that not much info has flowed into the CR webpages under Germany. Angel Garcia Long Valley, NJ

It's Lüders (the last loop being the "s"), one of the most if not the most exclusive german frame builders. Tiny one man shop who built the bikes for german professionals until ~10(?) years ago. A LBS has the 6 day track frame (60cm) of Gregor Braun collecting dust in the basement. Might be wrong but I've heard stories that you couldn't walk into his shop in Berlin and demand a bike but that you have to prove that you are worth it. Very nice bikes, more fancy than a Rickert for example (german #auction eBay ratio Colnago/Cinelli/Rickert/Lueders 5000:500:50:1). Recognizable by a Ferrari like horse engraved at the seat stay ends. Didn't know about the saddles but special custom made Brooks fit into the picture.

Greetings. I came across a unique Brooks saddle. It is a Brooks Team Professional but instead of a Brooks badge on the back, it has an extra rivet in the middle, identical to the others, and on it is stamped Lüder, Berlin. It looks like it was done at the factory because there is no evidence of it ever having the Brooks badge. It does have the Brooks Professional embossed on the sides. Anyone ever seen or heard of this saddle? I've posted pics at http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/rdf1249/album?.dir=/Brooks+Luder+seat Not interested in selling it by the way.

Thanks
