Listers- So I still would like to understand, in concrete terms, why a manufacturer would go to such length to produce such a darn good looking frame when it is "only" made out of Chromor? Is this just a "stupid" mistake on the part of Carrera, Bottechia, etc.?
Or is it something akin to what one lister pointed out: an uneducated consumer? What goes through my mind is that I would love to pick up one of these frames because of the economical price tag.
But will I forever be "shunned' by fellow listers because undernath all the nice chrome stays and fork, beyond the cut-out BB, internal brake cable routing, engraved seat-stay caps, engraved fork crowns, beautiful paint job, fast-back seat cluster, and cut-out lugs, its "only" chromor? All thoughts welcomed. cheers, Dave Anderson Cut Bank MT
