Sam: I found a gorgious Trek OCLV ready to ride this A.M. under my Hanuka Bush. WOW !!

A good example of period correctness and my view: Just arrived a few days ago, a 1938 Hetchin's Continental Special (curly) full chrome from the UK, with almost all 1950-51 parts. The bike was owned by one gentleman it's entire life and in about 1950 he saw fit to upgrade the group. The bike was used until the 1960s when the owner past away, and it was in storage until recent times. Considering the age and it's originality going back to the only owner it ever had, I wouldn't change anything on this bike, as it comes with it's own unique history. To change anything on it would be a crime to me. To find Pre-war parts is very difficult as much of the metal was melted down for the war effort. Just my limited point of view from a "TRUE HETCHINS MANIAC".

Great Holiday Season and regards, Hetchinspete Peter Naiman Bosyon, MA
