Hi, How does the saying go, "the more your educated, the less you realize you know". That sure seems to be the case with my braze-on mystery, specifically the TT and shifter braze-ons.
>From the half dozen replies I've had, here is what I know so far:

Braze-on TT and shifters were'nt standard until 1978, and before then they were optional at a "special request" from 1974 onward. Color, choice of groupo, and braze-ons were options to choose from when special ordering a Masi.

Lastly, the TT cable guides were a special design by Mario Confente which used a special brand of cable housing called the Elephant brand, which was a thinner skinned housing than Campagnolo's housing.

Do any Masi GC (California) owners out there know what I am talking about, and are using this Elephant brand of cable housing with the Mario designed TT braze-ons? Apparently this Elephant brand was used on many Italian bikes of the 1970's.

If so, I would like to purchase a piece to see if it fits thru the guides.

Thanks.
