Subject: [CR]Dropout timeline/website

I've just had a look at Bob Reid's Flying Scot website where he's been building up information about dropouts without telling anyone! Where has all of this come from, Bob? These dropouts weren't all found on Flying Scots, surely? The page is at: http://www.flying-scot.co.uk/frame_ends.html

I think a website devoted to dropouts is a great idea as it's a good way of roughly dating a frame. I've suggested to Bob that he might use some of the dropout images that I think are on the Brown Brothers CDs to build up this page.

If there isn't another website with as much info on it, I'd like to propose that Bob's website becomes the repository for any dropout info. Given the relatively limited variety of dropouts, it should be possible to build up a very comprehensive catalogue.
