The Kronos never worked-- they were sort of for show on time trial bikes (light weight) and the rubber in your pads has probably hardened.I f your going to ride the bike use Dura Ace AX (spec'd on some Colnagos) or Royal Gran Compe(small, lightweight but actually stop things.)
