Has anyone heard of Ruegger bikes. I recently picked up a Ruegger Spezial and am trying to learn more about this brand. I'm guessing it's from the early 80's because of the Shimano 600 "Arabesque" components and 6 speed Dura Ace freewheel. It's metallic green and fades to chrome on the stays and lugged throughout with gold metallic paint in and around the lugs.
I was also told by a local mechanic that the BB has Italian threading, to keep as a reminder for when I change it out.
Any info, or other suggestions for finding info on this bike would be appreciated.
