Subject: [CR]Two Trade offers-A-D and Ideale

Hi gang. I have two items to dangle for possible sale or trade.

#1 An nice, broken in Ideale model 80 brown saddle. Normal scuffs and scratches but no serious damage. Sit-bone indentations evident but not prominent enough to prevent adaptation to a new owner's contours. Asking $25 plus shipping (tell me if that's out of line). Willing to trade for a serviceable Mavic rear derailleur (will add some cash or another item if necessary) or a nice classic box-section 36 hole clincher rim.

#2 Austro Daimler Vent Noir, 58 cm. NO WHEELS (last correct pair I saw on ebay went for $95--too bad I missed them). Incomplete restoration project. A few small scrapes through that cool black hard coating have been touched up with paint. Paint striping is good, decals only fair. One small dent (fingernail size) on left chainstay. Has core of the factory spec. black dura-ace group, including headset, calipers, levers (dry, cracking hoods, not quite shot yet), shifters, cranks (plus extra small chainring), rear deraileur (works OK but has a significant gouge), front deraileur is dura-ace ex (slightly later vintage); non-original bar, stem, seatpost (nice gipiemme fluted model), bottom bracket (new junk), unicanitor saddle. The heart of a nice vintage rider. Love to trade for a decent 58cm artisan frameset (OK if it needs some TLC; might be willing top up with a bit of cash or another item), or sell for $300 plus shipping (again, tell me if I'm way out of line). Offers considered. Contact me off list.
