I've sat on my hands during most of the seat stay debate, but <g> the Japanese Mystery bike also has "fluted" "spooned" or "concave" seat stays. That was one of the things that attracted me, initially. Please don't call 'em anything but concave, or more prettily, "fluted." Check out the last shot at:

They look like a combination of the Flying Scot and the "M" word bike's.

Oh - by the way... It's not a Miyata. Dennis Young checked at the source for me. We know it's not a Fuji, so it's a mystery. Thanks to another list member, it is acquiring a nice Dura Ace Crane group, so what ever it is, it will be pretty much correct in it's vintage light-weightness!

Ann Phillips - Atlanta GA how can it be thundering and lightening when I went to sleep AND when I woke up this morning? And most importantly, will it quit so I can go ride this afternoon?
