Subject: [CR]FOR SALE - Bike and frames - AD, Merckx, Raleigh, Trek +

Since Spring cleaning seems to be all the rage these days, I'll jump on the bandwagon. I need to regain some space and eliminate some of the potential projects tempting me. All frames are measured center-to-center. Digital pix are available for all items. Prices do not include shipping costs.

#1. Austro Daimler Ultima Superleicht. Probably late 70's vintage. 55x55. Sort of a dusty rose or light mauve color with black lug lining and window fill, and black box lining on fork and seat tube. Reynolds butted 531 with chrome fork crown, seat stay top eyes (both with A-D engraving), and drop-outs. This is a complete bike with a mix of Campy N-Rec/S-Rec components, except the wheelset, which is Maillard Helicomatic rear (tool included) and 700 Pro front laced to unknown gray ano clinchers (Matrix?) and Continental Supersport Ultra tires. This is a very low mileage wheelset in excellent condition. Components are in very good condition. I will sell the bike complete, the bike sans wheelset, just the wheelset, or just the frame, depending on what response I get.

S-Rec r-der (with later pulley/jocky wheels), crankset, pedals (yes, Ti spindles), and brake set w/Modolo anatomic hoods. N-Rec f-der, seat post, shifters, and head set. Cinelli bar and 1A new logo stem.

This bike is in very good used condition. There are several scratches and scrapes in the paint, and some decal damage, but nothing serious. Included is a set of replacement decals (two down tube sets!) and a new (nice chrome and blue) head tube badge, if you want to refinish. Also included is the original bill-of-sale.

Complete = $485 OBO Less wheelset = $400 OBO Frame only = $265 OBO

#2. Raleigh Superbe. Frame and fork. 1980. 58x56. Transparent gold over chrome for a gold plated look. Tange Champion No. 1 butted tubes. Medium point lugs with red window fill on HT lugs and brake bridge reinforcements. Suntour drop-outs. Recessed brake bolt mounts. Braze-on shifter mounts, TT cable guides, r-der cable stop and single bottle cage mount. Typical Raleigh headbadge. This frame was originally an all-Japanese built Raleigh, outfitted with a complete Suntour Superbe group. Very unusual with a striking look. Excellent condition. Very few minor blemishes.

Frame and fork = $275 OBO

#3. Trek 660. Frame and fork. 1984. 55x55. Red, but down tube decal was removed. Reynolds 531CS. This frame does not have Trek's own investment cast seat lug with the plug-in seat stay sockets, rather the older style flat-faced top eyes with "TREK" engraving. Very nicely made frame. Recessed brake bolt mounts. Braze-ons for shifter mounts, TT cable guides, r-der cable stop and two bottle cage mounts. This is a very low mileage frame in excellent condition. Often underrated, but excellent, sweet riding frame.

Frame and fork = $225 OBO

#4. Eddy Merckx Moltini Replica. Frame and fork. Probably mid to late 80's, possibly earlier, Corsa-style frame. 53x54. Columbus SL. Flat fork crown with "Eddy" and "Merckx" engraving and blue fill. Braze-ons for shifter mounts, f-der, TT cable guides, r-der cable stop, top of BB cable guides and two bottle cage mounts. Very good condition with typical minor scratches of a used, but well cared for bike. No dents or dings.

Frame and fork = $350 OBO

#5. Miyata Alumicross. Cyclocross frame and fork. 55x55. Unknown vintage. Bonded aluminum main triangle with steel stays and fork. 700c wheels. Appliance white finish. Canti brake and rear triangle rack braze-ons. Includes some kind of Shimano BB, a Ritchey black head set and a black generic seatpost, which I think is 25.0, but I'll have to check, and probably some other bits. Excellent condition. Would make a great commuter or beater bike. I had it set up with moustache bar, Brooks saddle and 35c tires, and it was a fun toy. Time to make room for others.

Frame and fork (w/HS, BB, post and more) = $125 OBO

Thanks for looking.
