Ken

Can't help with the nut but there are plently of available single speed freewheels that will fit. Try it if you must; but you will likely find ( as most of us that have tried both ways ) that it ain't nearly as much fun as riding fixed! And of course you forfeit style points... Also GOT to have a brake!

Please help...I need a source for the outer nut (not sure of the technical term) that threads onto the axle for an old Campy Record Pista rear hub. It's the outer most nut that holds the cones in place, and parallels the dropout.

Also, does anyone know if there is a freewheel (single) that will thread onto the hub mentioned above?

Thank you,
