I don't have a bike to ride worthy of these jerseys, and I have other priorities, and the billiard room is already decorated, so:

#1: MASI - CAMPAGNOLO, BLUE AND GOLD: The tag reads "Santini, Seattle, Baleno, Made in Italy, 50% wool, 50% acrylic. I bought this when I first worked at Masi, oh about 20 years ago. The colors still look vibrant. I'll describe sizing of this jersey and the other two below relative to my medium, Louis Garneau, Richard Sachs jersey I bought a couple years ago, you know, red with flying RSs and team sponsor logos. The Masi jersey is a tad longer than the RS and narrower in the shoulders, so it's good for a small to medium build; you mediums would surely want to do the stretch thing after washing. (It's clean now!) I'm 5' 9", 170lbs, but I used to wear these jerseys now and then when I was closer to 145lbs -- I wouldn't think of sqeezing into 'em now. So, are you a small, or a narrow-shouldered medium? Yes? Perfect. The front is gold with dark-blue embroidered "MASI" lettering, 2" by 9". An inch below is dark-blue embroidered "Campagnolo" script, 1 3/4 " by 8." A 5" zippered front. The back is gold, no lettering, three pockets, button holes but no buttons. The blue side panels have yellow embroidered "MASI," 2" by 9." Blue and gold collar and sleeve ends. A teensy 1/8" hole somewhere in front.

#2: MASI - ESCONDIDO B.C.- TURBOTRAINER, BLUE AND PINK: This may be more than 20 years old, I think of Ted Kirkbride's Escondido, California "bike club." ("B.C.) Turbotrainer is/was a San Diego compamy, yes? Not shocking flamingo pink, a dark pink, a tinge of mauve perhaps, definitely classy pink, so classic pink it is. Tag reads "L." A bit longer, a bit wider in the shoulders than #1 above. Pretty damn close to the RS medium. Front is classic pink with dark-blue embroidered "MASI," 2 1/4" by 9 1/2." Above this, yet below the red, white and blue collar is red embroidered "ESCONDIDO B.C." -- the letters are placed concentric to the collar. 5" zipper, same shade of classic pink! The back is classic pink with dark-blue embroidered "ESCONDIDO B.C.," 2" by 10." Above this are three one inch vertical machine-sewn repairs -- has that "badge of honor look" really, it does!-- so, create a fresh battle story for every query! Three pockets in back, no buttons, but then there are no button holes either! Side panels are blue with white embroidered "MASI," 1 3/4" by 10." Top of shoulders have yellow embroidered 7/8" "TURBOTRAINER" lettering. Red, white and blue collar and sleeve ends. Teensy 1/8" hole in white part of collar.

#3: MASI, RED, no embroidering on this one!!!: Bought it mid-eighties. Tag reads "Merboso, Made in Switzerland, 70% acrylic, 30% wool. Reads "L," but it's a tad narrower than medium RS. Next to RS jersey it seems to have a bit of burnt orange, but next to nothing -- it's red! Front has white "MASI," 3/4" by 3 1/2" printed on left breastplate. 7" zippered front. Back has white "MASI," 2" by 9 1/2." Three-pockets. Side panels and shoulder panels are 1 1/2" strips comprising alternating 5 white and 4 blue thin stripes. Small "Merboso logos on sleeves.

All jerseys are in great shape for their age, all should take you back 20 years, give or take five, depends on your powers of reminiscing. #1: $85, #2: $85, #3: $45: buy all three for $215, plus insurance and shipping, and I'll throw in the Richard Sachs jersey! (It's a nice jersey.)

After a couple years of 5ks, and another couple years of riding, I'll probably wish I had them for a trip to Italy when I'm 50 or so, but then my idea of a vacation is just sitting around drinking capuccino's, so somebody, please, get some satisfaction out of these artifacts now!
