Hi folks, Despite my warning that the Marinoni decals aren't clearcoated, the shop manager still clamped the seat tube on the nearly perfect '83 Marinoni Special that I got from Dave Bilenkey(thanks Dave!!).
So, the world champion stripe decal and the first "M" of Marinoni on the seat tube are cracked. I gently slid them back together so that it's tough to see the cracks, but, that's not the point.
I contacted Marinoni in Canada and they said they decals are long gone.
Anyone have any of these or have suggestions for looking?
The WC decal has the slight wave in it. The "M" is black with the gold border. I can send pics and measurements.
